This check valve prevents fuel from draining back into the tank when the engine is not running. We recommend replacing it when changing the fuel pump. Small-hole bottom of the gas tank strainer nuts that hold in the fuel delivery nipples. Long corroded away, these are exact duplicates of the no longer available factory parts.
All 356/912 engines have a steel plug in the bottom of the engine case to drain the oil. This plug has metric tapered threads and no seal ring is needed.
