Our rubber accelerator pedal pad is a very good reproduction from Germany. Stretch it over the metal pedal for a perfect fit and 40 more years of use.
Known as: rubber pad
We supply a new accelerator pedal assembly to replace your old worn and rusty one. This is a very accurate reproduction at a modest price-probably needed in every 356 restoration.
This ball socket is responsible for kick down; it tends to wear out with time causing delayed response and lackluster throttle response. It is a simple replacement and is very rewarding when adjusted correctly. One is on the end of the throttle cable and the other behind the pedal. We also recommend adding 2 x securing clips for installation, part # sold individually. 4 necessary per car.
This item may need to be sourced from Germany and would take 2-4 weeks to arrive. Once ordered it cannot be canceled. Please call to check stock or request expedited shipping.
If your accelerator rod keeps popping off of the accelerator pedal it is probably a worn out pedal wobbling from side to side not this rod and its connected ball cup
