This sports exhaust system offers a fuller, more powerful sound for your 996 Porsche. The sound is pleasant and mellow at idle and low rpms; as rpms increase more exhaust is channelled to the bypass pipes thus providing an increasingly sharper and more aggressive tone. At just under 5k rpm through redline it is in full bypass mode giving an exciting sound similar to the club sport cars.
