Both annoying and dangerous, these mounts are often overlooked on 1970-74 models, as the pump is hidden away over the right heater control valve. Make a selection K1347 A good upgrade for slightly modified engines. Convert fuel injected 2.0 engines to weber 40 mm (40 idf) dual throat carbs. Each kit contains two carburetors, cast aluminum manifolds, fuel line, clamps and all necessary gaskets. The special mounting hardware for the linkage arms is made from an aluminum alloy casting that is much stronger and more rigid than a thin metal stamping. The throttle arms ride in individually adjustable heim (ball) joints for easier adjustment and smoother throttle response. This kit is for off-road and racing use only, and must never be used on the highways in california.
