With substantial changes compared to the previous 996 GT3, the 997 mk1 GT3 has become a track junkies favorite weapon of choice. As you rev past 2000 rpms, the GT3 starts to come to life. However it is not until you get to about 4500 rpm that the 3.6l gets faster that expected. The vr tuned ecu flash was developed to focus on improving the cars entire power curve. Adjusting the cars timing and air fuel mixtures, the throttle response is much quicker and the low end torque comes to life faster.
