The new carburetor is now available! We’ve included many design improvements in our three-barrel carburetor. For instance, we have a single throttle shaft with a ball bearing on each end. The float bowls have near- center fuel pickups with slosh baffling. The floats hang from the top cover, and the needle valves have hooks to enable the floats to pull the needles down as they drop. Each float bowl has a sight glass for checking fuel level. The idle air jets are replaceable for more accurate fine tuning of the idle circuit. The auxiliary venturies have round bases which offer greatly increased stability. The auxiliary venturies come in two aperture sizes: 4.5 and 5.0. The main jets, emulsion tubes and air jets are stacked in a single unit, as in the 48 IDA two barrel. The mixture screw seats extend out into the air stream for better fuel atomization. Our new system of aiming the accelerator nozzles at the curved surface of the auxiliary venturies also improves fuel atomization along with throttle response. The carburetors come in 40mm, 46mm, and 50mm sizes.
