The
Carrera Powerkit offers an increase in power output
from 320 to 345 hp on 911 Carrera models since
model year 02 (08/01). Modifications include a
new alloy induction manifold, cylinder heads,
exhaust manifolds and camshafts, as well as revised
engine management software. With more power on
board, there is even more enjoyment from your
Porsche. Additional parts may be required depending
on production date and model. For manual gearbox
only.

"I never thought
it would be possible to make an already perfect
car better, but I was wrong!" That's what
our customer wrote after having the Weltmeister
Engine Management System Upgrade installed on
his 1996 911 Twin Turbo. In addition to improved
acceleration and top speed, extra safety is built
in to assure you of the reliability of your OBD-II
engine management system. The package includes
a small computer to control boost and fuel enrichment,
plus a new fuel pressure regulator and wiring
harness. Dyno tests show a 65-70 horsepower gain
and an 80pound torque increase. It all means more
driving fun and excitement. Not legal in California
on any pollution controlled motor vehicle used
for normal road use.
